The second night of the Superstar Shakeup saw SmackDown Live average 2,769,000 viewers on the USA Network, which is down 10% from last year’s shakeup episode (the last SmackDown to top 3 million viewers). This week’s figure was still the fourth highest SmackDown number of 2018.

SmackDown Live went up against the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics playoff game, which had 2,888,000 viewers watching on TNT on Tuesday.

Monday’s edition of Raw averaged 3,600,000 viewers on the USA Network while going up against the NBA playoffs, which attracted 3,426,000 viewers on TNT.

The number outperformed last year’s Superstar Shakeup Raw by 200,000 viewers and was the third highest Raw number of 2018, trailing the 25th Anniversary and night after WrestleMania editions of the show.

The show opened with 3,634,000 viewers in the first hour and increased by 3.3% in the second hour to 3,754,000 viewers. This week’s show was the first episode in three weeks to see higher viewership in the second hour than the first. The third hour of Raw featured a 7.3% drop to 3,479,000 viewers, which featured the show-closing ten-man tag main event.
