The WWE’s television viewership leading into SummerSlam was essentially flat week-over-week.

Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live averaged 2,189,000 viewers on the USA Network, which experienced a minimal drop from last week’s average of 2.197 million viewers. The show advertised the return of Jeff Hardy ahead of time but was a minor aspect to the show.

Monday’s episode of Raw averaged 2,820,000 viewers for the “go home” show from Greensboro, North Carolina. It was up slightly from last week’s average of 2.8 million viewers.

The show started with 2,849,000 viewers in the first hour and grew to 2,867,000 in the second before a drop of 3.7% in the third hour to 2,760,000 viewers. The show culminated with the contract signing between Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins with the return of Dean Ambrose to close the show.

While Brock Lesnar did appear on the show, he was not advertised in advance.

The fourth episode of “Miz & Mrs” averaged 1,162,0000 viewers and was somewhat surprising as this week’s episode promoted the birth of their child, which I assumed would lead to a stronger number. The show has been renewed for the second season with an order of 14 episodes in 2019 as compared to the six episodes that will comprise the first season. The show has dropped each week since the premiere and is averaging approximately 1,290,000 viewers. It is obviously being viewed as a success given the renewal and increase in episodes.

Leaked script for a supposed shitty Raw was up…and the “better show” that has all out favourites can’t keep a steady pace…go figure.

Hasn’t the building hosting Hell In A Cell been advertising Roman Reigns VS Kevin Owens?

If so, it’ll hold credence to the theory of Kevin Owens winning The Money In The Bank briefcase and cashing in on Reigns
