Grizzled Young Veterans undergo name changes.
Kicking off the April 19th episode of NXT 2.0 were the newly crowned NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince). As they were gloating about their title win, they were interrupted by fellow former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Grizzled Young Veterans.
The duo known as Zack Gibson and James Drake have had their names shortened and are now going by ‘Gibson’ and ‘Drake’.
Gibson and Drake claimed that the only reason Pretty Deadly found success in NXT UK is because they weren’t on the brand and the only reason they won the Gauntlet match last week is because Grizzled Young Veterans weren’t a part of it.
Their back and forth led to Legado Del Fantasma (Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde & Elektra Lopez) coming down to the ring and they brawled with Gibson and Drake.
