AEW Fight for the Fallen hits three-week high, #2 on cable behind MLB

AEW Dynamite hit a three-week high in viewership with Fight for the Fallen ranking second among cable originals on Wednesday.

The July 27th edition of the show from Worcester averaged 976,000 viewers and approximately 430,000 (0.33) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

It was Dynamite’s highest figures since July 6th but ended their five-week streak of finishing first on cable for the night. This week, they were topped by the New York Yankees vs. New York Mets game on ESPN that averaged 2.12 million viewers and 0.50 in the demo.

Fight for the Fallen saw a seven percent increase in overall viewers while the 18-49 audience was up by three percent.

Dynamite saw a large increase of 36 percent among adults 18-34, which was also their highest mark in three weeks.

The show did see a drop of ten percent among adults 35-49 while adults 50+ grew from 0.37 to 0.41 this week.

In Canada, the show averaged 93,200 viewers and 50,600 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2, which were down by seven and three percent respectively this week.

This week’s show was headlined by the return of Bryan Danielson, who had not wrestled in two months since the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, and included Jon Moxley defending the AEW interim championship against Rush.
