AEW Rampage fell to its lowest 18-49 audience of 2022 going against coverage of the Winter Olympics from Beijing.

The taped episode from Atlantic City averaged 549,000 viewers and approximately 248,000 (0.19) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

It was their lowest demo figure since the episode that aired on New Year’s Eve and featured a TNT championship between Cody Rhodes and Ethan Page. This week’s demo figure dropped by six percent from last week.

The show finished tenth among cable originals behind USA Network’s coverage of the Olympics, Discovery’s Gold Rush, MTV’s Love After Lockup, and Fox News programming. In males 18-49, Rampage finished #3 for the night on cable.

The overall viewership increased by 2 percent this week from 540,000 last week for a show featuring Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus defending the AEW tag titles against The Gunn Club, and The Young Bucks wrestling Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero.

The drop among adults 35-49 was 12 percent while the 18-34 demo increased by 13 percent.

In an interesting stat, Rampage’s 50+ rating was 0.24, which is its highest in that category since November 5th, which did the same rating in the demo.

This Friday’s episode will be airing outside its regular slot with a special start time of 7 p.m. ET and 4 on the west coast due to TNT’s coverage of the NBA All-Star weekend.
