One would have to also wonder now that Britt probably can’t come to WWE if this is the case. Also, her being suspended this time sort of goes against that but we know that MJF will never face repercussions for anything he does.
Also interesting that she’s broken up with Adam Cole and if that factors into her and the Tony implication above
I mean, it’s you’re star wrestler vs not your star wrestler. Cody was the star but Brandi wasn’t. I also don’t want to say siding with Brandi is siding with Cody because they are two different people.
I’m also not sure what the problem was and both Tony and Cody would have to give their reasons. I wonder if either will say anything. I do wonder if all the hate that Brandi got was Britt talking to people as after those rumours spread, a bunch of AEW talent came to her defense.
If that’s the case though, maybe Tony is wrong and learned a lesson. Every report painted MJF pretty well so I think it’s reasonable not to suspend him, just based on info that came out.
But yeah, Konnan seems to be holding a grudge after he had WWE signed a guy and beat FTR before revealing it. I wonder why TK would be weary of him.

I stopped listening to K-Dog a long time ago, because it was disgusting to listen to him eat on a podcast for two hours.
But I love that he says “Tony always takes Baker’s side“ about a story where she was the only one to get suspended.
The reason Cody left is because it was always his goal in his career to end up back in the WWE.
He left to raise his stock. Worked the hottest talents across the biggest indies (remember the “list”?). He attached himself to the hottest act - the Bullet Club. Then, became tight with The Elite. And then AEW.
It wasn’t a clash with Britt. It wasn’t one of dozens of other conspiracy theories out there. He left, because he probably got as much as he could put of AEW and saw a clear opening to leap towards in WWE.
That’s the business. Cody’s an expert at it and plays it like few others.
Even if it was a clash with Britt, it was also mentioned that there were other reasons. So I can see maybe Brandi and Britt didn’t get along, but if he wanted to stick around, things like that could be worked out.
I can also see Cody denying this.
I think anybody with half a brain would be denying stories Konnan spreads about them.
