Danielson earns a shot at the AEW World Title.

The third match on AEW’s Full Gear card featured Bryan Danielson taking on Miro in the World Title Eliminator tournament final. Miro was slotted into the tournament after Jon Moxley opted to enter a alcohol treatment program. Miro defeated Orange Cassidy to advance to the finals.

Miro was in control for the final stretch of the match but it was Danielson hitting a ‘Tornado DDT’ off the top rope and then locking in a Guillotine to submit Miro.

Danielson has earned a shot at the AEW World Championship and he will meet the winner of Kenny Omega versus Hangman Page which is headlining Full Gear.

Back in September, Danielson and AEW World Champion Kenny Omega went one-on-one at Dynamite: Grand Slam and their match went to a time limit draw.
