BT Sport, WWE’s broadcast partner in the UK, has announced the unusual step of airing Clash at the Castle on television without a pay-per-view charge.
BT Sport is a premium service, meaning UK viewers must pay a monthly subscription fee to watch Raw and SmackDown, along with its other offerings.
However, WWE fans who do not have the WWE Network are normally expected to pay a typical one-off fee of between £14.99 and £19.99 to view premium live events on a dedicated “BT Sport Box Office” channel.
This has previously included the PLEs in Saudi Arabia, which typically starts at around 5.00 pm UK time.
In a Twitter post, BT Sport announced that Clash at the Castle will air on BT Sport 2, which is the home of Raw and SmackDown in the UK.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 3rd at 1.00 pm ET (6.00 pm, UK time) at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. It marks the first stadium show for WWE in the United Kingdom since SummerSlam 1992, which took place at Wembley Stadium.
