Originally published at

On the final Café Hangout of 2019, John Pollock and Wai Ting welcome pro wrestler Dominic Garrini (MLW, GCW, Beyond Wrestling) to share his thoughts on pro wrestling concussion protocols in light of the Kairi Sane incident at TLC.

We open up the phone lines and speak to all of you about NXT, AEW Dynamite, Dark Order, Wrestle Kingdom, your highlights of the decade and more.

At the end of the show, we react to a major ratings victory from NXT over AEW in the Wednesday Night Wars.

The Café Hangout returns on January 23, 2020.

Café Hangouts are recorded live every Thursday at 3pm ET (12pm PT / 8pm UK). All Patreon supporters have access to watch, chat and call-in live each week.

Very cool to hear Garrini come on the show. I spoke to him a bit over WrestleMania weekend the day after that AIW show mentioned (Slumber Party Massacre, worth watching) and he comes off like a cool, knowledgeable guy. I also follow Erick Stevens on Twitter, and I remember hearing him share a lot about the terrible after effects of his concussion that Garrini brought up here.
