Checking in with LeBron ...

going to OKC to team with Westbrook and go against Durrant in the West would be very fun

Gotcha! I hear ya. At the corresponding time in 2010, there wasn’t a banner in Cleveland (of recent) yet so the speculation commenced with staying there. Not an issue this time.

Obviously anything we or any other place says is just a guess. A guess though taking into account all the factors we know (has won a title in Cleveland, salary cap situations for all the teams, etc.). I’m sure he’s still gathering all the possibilities right now to see what the opportunities are. Probably scheduling his recruiting visits with Pop or some dinner with G.S. We will have a little more idea what could happen in 2 and a half weeks (by the 29th) as he has to decide by then whether he’s ‘opting in’ to his available one year deal. If he does, then it’s gotta be a sign and trade to move (like CP3 last year). If he doesn’t opt in, then only a certain amount of teams could fit a max deal free agent onto the squad.
