RAW saw several key demographics bounce back after last week’s program was the least-watched since the introduction of the ThunderDome.

Monday’s episode on the USA Network averaged 1,690,000 viewers and 0.53 in the 18-49 demographic representing increases of 2 percent and 10.4 percent respectively. RAW finished #4 among all cable programming for the evening.

It was RAW’s best 18-49 figure since the Draft edition on October 12th.

The first hour began with 1,847,000 viewers but saw declines in the second and third hours. Hour two fell by 8.5 percent to 1,690,000 viewers and dropped by another 9.3 percent in the third with 1,532,000 viewers, which is among the lowest hours of the modern era. The drop from the first to the third hour was 17 percent overall and 15.5 percent in the 18-49 demo.

Last week’s episode took place on the eve of the U.S. Election and news coverage was enormous for RAW to compete against. This week, cable news was back to regular levels while the Monday Night Football game between the New England Patriots and New York Jets averaged 9,828,000 and down 16 percent from last week’s game.

This week, RAW increased heavily among females with the 18-49 audience up by 20.5 percent and women 12-34 increasing by 25 percent (this demo was also up in the final hour by 8 percent). Adults 18-34 improved by 15 percent this week.

RAW’s declines in the third hour were felt most among men 12-34 that were down 26 percent from hour one while men 18-49 dropped 22 percent and adults over 50 fell by 16.5 percent in the final hour.

In Canada, RAW was the second most-watched sports program behind the Monday Night Football game. RAW averaged 261,500 viewers and did 111,600 in the 25-54 demo on Sportsnet 360. An episode of WWE Main Event airing at 7 pm Eastern as a lead-in for RAW did 33,100 viewers and 17,500 in the key demo.
