I quickly decided to view this not as an episode of RAW but as a tribute show to WWE itself. In that way, it worked. Lot’s of silly nostalgia, Taker, DX, Austin, MVP…Yeah it was fun.
As an episode of a show that has to continue, especially as a go home show for the second biggest event of the year, it was, well…nothing. I’m hoping, besides the Miz title win, this show is just kinda forgotten about going forward and everything proceeds as if it didn’t happen. Nothing came out of it with any consequence.
That said I had a pal in like the 6th row and he had a BLAST live (barclays. I assume not many at manhattan center had as much fun…)
