Jake from the Windy City:

So this is the first time I’ve gotten the chance to watch this documentary as I’ve heard many stories about Mark Kerr. I really enjoyed this doc. Being a fan of MMA much later on, it was a real eye opener and shows just how much it the sport has changed from the more underground and ‘no holds barred’ feeling. The movie really makes you feel for the athletes in it, I had very little knowledge of who Mark Kerr was but throughout the film, I felt I really wanted him to win, I really felt like I’d been following his career for a long time and inside I found myself cheering him on.

While it’s not as revealing as Beyond The Mat, this is an interesting and occasionally disturbing look at someone whose hunger for victory is all encompassing.
