First night of Halloween Havoc ranks behind Game 7 of MLB playoffs, NBA

The first night of NXT’s Halloween Havoc saw the show drop to a four-week low airing against Game 7 of the Diamondbacks vs. Phillies.

The October 24 episode of NXT averaged 787,000 viewers and 276,000 (0.21) in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics and Sports TV Ratings.

The numbers dropped by 1% in overall viewership and fell by 9% in the demo – its lowest performance since September 26.

NXT managed to rank #7 among sports programming on Tuesday behind coverage of the MLB playoffs and the NBA. Game 7 of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Philadelphia Phillies dominated the night with 8,889,000 viewers and a 2.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic while the L.A. Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets averaged 2,844,000 and 1.11 in the demo airing against NXT.

NXT was hurt among women in the 18-49 demo dropped from 103,000 to 72,000 or 30% this week while males grew by 3% this week.

Adults 18-34 performed well among males going from 62,000 to 85,000 this week and overall, the demo increased by 14% this week and follows double-digit increases that AEW Collision and WWE Raw experienced this week in the demo.

Adults 35-49 fell from 188,000 to 146,000 or 22% from last week including women dropping by nearly half from 51,000 to 27,000.

In Canada, the show did not air on Sportsnet 360 until 1 a.m. ET and averaged approximately 32,000 viewers and 5,000 in the 25-54 demographic. NXT did stream live on the SN Now app.
