Kazuyuki Fujita has vacated the GHC Heavyweight Championship following the news that the wrestler tested positive for COVID-19.
At Wednesday’s press conference, the company confirmed the championship was vacant with Go Shiozaki set to compete for the championship this Saturday.

During the press conference, Kaito Kiyomiya issued a challenge to Shiozaki for Saturday to determine the new champion but it was left undecided regarding who Shiozaki’s opponent will be on Saturday.

Fujita won the title from Katsuhiko Nakajima this past February and defended the title against Masato Tanaka last month for the promotion.
Pro Wrestling NOAH is scheduled to hold back-to-back cards at Sumo Hall this Friday & Saturday, which will stream on Wrestle Universe.
