An update on Hangman Page.

The main event of the October 18th AEW Dynamite ended abruptly when referee Paul Turner called the match off due to an injury to Hangman Adam Page.

Page and Jon Moxley were competing for the AEW World Championship and Page took a clothesline and turned himself inside out. He was stretchered out of the arena and AEW has provided an update on Page. They noted that he was taken to a trauma center in Cincinnati, Ohio and diagnosed with a concussion.

Page was discharged but will remain in AEW’s concussion protocol.

Prayers up for Hangman.

He’s got a wife and young son at home that need him healthy. #aew #adampage pic.twitter.com/orsc5luwQ3

POST Wrestling’s John Pollock and Wai Ting discussed the ending to Moxley versus Hangman on the latest edition of Rewind-A-Dynamite.

Glad it wasn’t to the extent of what was thought of at the start of Rewind-A-Dynamite, but we all concussions are no joke. Adam Cole still hasn’t returned after his concussion.

A concussion means he suffered a mild TBI/ he was knocked out but he’s probably regained his function now. It’s impossible to know whether he’ll have any lingering effects from this or not, he would likely need to be assessed by a neurologist in the coming days as no single test can tell you

Scary stuff. Not quite a routine bump, but I’m sure something he’s done thousands of times. I’m willing to bet that all pro wrestlers have suffered multiple concussions of varying severity, so you never know when you’re going to have the big one/last one.

Not to minimize the seriousness of a concussion, but he’s very lucky it wasn’t also a significant neck injury. It ain’t ballet.
