Jon Moxley made a surprise appearance on Saturday’s Northeast Wrestling event in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Moxley appeared on the show unadvertised and defeated Channing Thomas.
The company noted that Jay Lethal was unable to appear on the show due to a medical issue and that there would be a huge mystery replacement on the show.
It was Moxley’s second match in as many nights after beating Ethan Page on Friday’s edition of AEW Rampage.
Moxley is scheduled to defend the GCW championship against Homicide at The WRLD on GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday.
