Matt Tremont is coming out of retirement for Onita.
Former GCW and CZW World Champion Matt Tremont is coming out of retirement and his return match will be against Atsushi Onita on October 31st. The match is going to be a part of a string of shows that H2O Wrestling are presenting. Tremont is the founder of the H2O promotion.
Onita and Tremont have had a number of exchanges on social media during which Onita has been calling out Tremont. Both H2O and Onita’s FMW-E promotion are co-promoting this match.

Tremont’s retirement bout took place in October of 2020. He lost to Rickey Shane Page in a deathmatch. On August 21st, Onita is going to be a part of DDT’s Wrestle Peter Pan show and there will be an exploding deathmatch on the card.
