Michael Elgin is returning to Japan at the end of the month for Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Elgin was announced for a match with Masa Kitamiya for the April 30th card at Sumo Hall which will be his first match in Japan since January 2020.

After leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2019, he primarily worked for IMPACT Wrestling and on the independent scene but did a pair of matches for NOAH in January 2020.

Elgin was suspended by IMPACT Wrestling in June 2020 after allegations were made against the performer and he was never used again by the company but continued to be paid.

This past February, Elgin (Aaron Frobel) launched a lawsuit against IMPACT in Tennessee claiming breach of contract and seeking compensatory damages over the harm it has done to his career and reputation.

Elgin’s deal with IMPACT was supposed to run until April 15th this month, but he stated in a Twitter post that his last final cheque from the company was issued on February 15th and stopped being paid after filing his lawsuit. He had signed a three-year deal with the company that commenced in April 2019.

The NOAH card on April 30th will be headlined by Kazuyuki Fujita defending the GHC heavyweight title against Go Shiozaki.

Is he bringing an Ark?
