MLW will hold its War Chamber event next April in New York City.
The promotion has announced the specialty match for Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City with tickets going on sale next Thursday at 10 a.m. ET.
War Chamber is MLW’s version of WarGames where two teams of four will meet inside a “carbon steel chamber” with two participants starting the match for five minutes and a new entrant every two minutes. The match can end by pinfall, submission, or surrender.
MLW previously held the rights to the WarGames concept but struck a deal with WWE, which allowed them to regain the rights.
Previous versions of War Chamber took place in September 2019 and November 2021. The last match saw Contra Unit of Jacob Fatu, Mads Krugger, Ikuro Kwon & The Sentai Death Squad Soldiers defeat The Hammerheads of Alex Hammerstone, EJ Nduka, Savio Vega, Richard Holliday & Matanza Duran.
The April 6th card will be a Fusion taping to air on beIN Sports and Pro Wrestling TV.
