It’s the NJPW Destruction in Kobe POST Show with John Pollock & Wai Ting reviewing the entire card from Kobe.

The show featured the latest singles match between Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada for control of the briefcase to challenge for the IWGP heavyweight title at Wrestle Kingdom. In addition, the show featured a major angle shot after the match to set up future matches for Tanahashi and Okada with Gedo aligning himself with Jay White.

The four-man tournament for the vacant IWGP junior heavyweight title began with KUSHIDA taking on Bushi, several future matches set up on the undercard, and a great opener between Yota Tsuji and Yuya Uemura.

I watched the edited version on NJPWorld they zoom in on Jay White as Hashi slipped, and I agree with Wai something so poetic that as he’s getting an important spot he still slips on it

This was the cherry on top to the shitcream sundae that has been Yoshi Hashi. I was ready to come all the way around on my displeasure on his G1 inclusion by commending Gedo for giving him meaningful story coming out of the tournament. But then…ONE JOB! Run to the ring. Dive into the ring. Be part of a main event angle…can’t even do that right! This guy sucks! Embarrassingly bad. Shame it hurt what was a truly remarkable segment to end Destruction

I’m a big fan of Wai using quintessential in this review. It’s all my all time favourite word and it’s rare to hear it used.
