I’m sorry but doesn’t New Japan have an IWGP US Championship? What is the point of this championship if it is not defended on their US Tours. That’s some WWE logic right there.

The quality of the Super J Cup shows was dogshit. I hope that these turn out a lot better.

Well then it should be on someone contractually allowed to work on New Japan cards in the US. That and Moxley may just be saving himself for next month.

I’m attending the Philly show, and I’m lukewarm on it going in seeing this card.

Isn’t the US Title on Robinson?!

EDIT:
Oh shit it is not!
So the title stayed on Moxley despite him losing to Robinson in the G1. Wow that’s confusing. What a gaff by NJPW. Maybe they expected him to lose it at Royal Quest. Embarassing honestly.

Yep, their G1 match wasn’t for the US Title, just to build for the US Title. Even if Moxley was healthy, he would have been at All Out, not Royal Quest. The earliest we could have seen Moxley-Robinson for the US Title may have been one of the Destruction cards, but we’re getting it next month anyway.

Gee. I blame it on the title

Are you going to any of the U.S. events? I’m going to the event in San Jose in November. Super stoked. Both Suzuki and Liger was already announced for the event.

I’m debating New York. It’s down the street from me but I hadn’t been motivated to go as they’ve really pissed me off with how the handle their streaming on World. Then the NY show is on World and I’m thinking why not just watch it there.
I want to see the roster but I also saw them at MSG earlier this year and expect more chances each year.

But I still may wind up going.
