NXT 2.0 hit a three-week high for Tuesday’s episode coming out of the Worlds Collide event this past weekend.

The September 6th edition of NXT 2.0 averaged 684,000 viewers and approximately 209,000 (0.16) in the 18-49 demographic, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

It was the show’s best figures since the August 16th Heatwave special with this week’s show including main roster talents Ricochet, Nikki A.S.H., and Doudrop wrestling. The show was headlined by Bron Breakker & Tyler Bate defeating Gallus.

The episode aired against ESPN’s coverage of the U.S. Open Tennis tournament that topped cable on Tuesday with 1,786,000 viewers and 0.38 in the 18-49 demographic along with programming on Fox News that rounded out the top five cable slots.

NXT ranked #12 among cable originals with a 7% increase in the 18-49 demographic, which was elevated due to a spike in females within the demo to offset a 13% decrease of males in the category.

Among adults 18-34, this week’s show equaled the number of viewers from last week’s show with both figures representing the highest mark in that demo since July 12th.

Next week’s show is being promoted as the one-year anniversary of the format switch to NXT 2.0.

Canadian numbers are delayed but we will have them shortly.
