NXT’s viewership was booted by an increase among its oldest audience as the show ranked #15 on cable against the NBA.

The October 25th edition of the show following Halloween Havoc averaged 716,000 viewers and approximately 196,000 (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

The figures represent NXT’s lowest numbers since October 4th. Its overall viewership grew 6% while the 18-49 audience fell by 18% compared with last week’s numbers, which had the disadvantage of airing against a live episode of AEW Dynamite.

In the 18-49 demo, NXT’s female viewership dropped by 27% this week and male viewership was down by 12%. The show also experienced a notable loss of 30% among adults 35-49.

Several demos grew this week for NXT with adults 18-34 up by 12%, males 12-34 rebounding with a 63% increase, and adults 50+ going from 0.34 to 0.40 this week.

NXT aired against the Dallas Mavericks vs. New Orleans Pelicans game that finished second on cable with 1.6 million viewers and 0.57 in the 18-49 demo. The late game between Golden State and Phoenix finished first and aired against the final 12 minutes of NXT including its seven-minute overrun segment.

In Canada, after streaming online for the prior two weeks, the show aired on Sportsnet 360 this week and averaged approximately 36,000 viewers and 12,000 in the 25-54 demographic. NXT didn’t finish among the top ten sports programs in Canada on Tuesday.

The fallout from Halloween Havoc included two tag title matches and the main event between JD McDonagh and Ilja Dragunov.

Vice TV’s Tales from the Territories on Tuesday night averaged 101,000 viewers and 0.02 in the 18-49, which ranked #149 among cable originals. This week’s episode covered Championship Wrestling from Florida
