I disagree with John’s shot at Eric Bischoff regarding TNA’s decision to go head-to-head with WWE. It’s easy, in hindsight, to criticize the move, but had the booking been decent (and it wasn’t Bischoff’s creative at the time), the results may have been different. But the talent level AEW boasts now is superior to what TNA had at the time, even with Angle, Hardy, Sting, Joe, etc. So it’s not really an apples-to-apples comparison.

Tony isn’t going against MNF. It’s a mute point for Monday’s. Fridays however still looms large as a potential head to head.
