The Best of the Super Juniors tournament continued Saturday headlined by a rematch of the 2018 finals.

In the main event, Taiji Ishimori used the Bone Lock to submit Hiromu Takahashi after more than twenty-five minutes. The win propels Ishimori to eight points and is tied for second place in the field while Takahashi remains with seven points.

The two met in the finals of the 2018 tournament where Takahashi won the Best of the Super Juniors.

SHO remains the leader with ten points after securing a win against DOUKI earlier in the night due to a referee stoppage. After six matches, SHO is 5-1 with the lone blemish being a loss to Yoshinobu Kanemaru earlier this week.

The other notable match featured current junior heavyweight champion El Desperado defeating Robbie Eagles in a rematch from Power Struggle this past month where Desperado won the championship.

Desperado currently holds seven points while Eagles has four points.

The tournament continues for two more weeks with the finals of the Best of the Super Juniors and the concurrent World Tag League taking place on Wednesday, December 15th at Sumo Hall.

The next World Tag League card is Sunday in Chiba followed by back-to-back shows at Korakuen Hall on Monday & Tuesday.
