We discuss Stone Cold Steve Austin’s departure from the WWE just days before the show, The Rock’s subsequent return, the rise of Brock Lesnar, Hulk Hogan’s 2002 run, Eddie Guerrero and more from a very eventful week in combat sports history.

This is stupid and I’m probably the only one who remembers this, but there’s one reason why I’m glad this review happened again…

In their “former life” review of this show, John does an impression of Mauro Ranallo if he had to do Taz’s lead-in to the Hurricane/Noble package about “the letters”. Cracked me up and has been stuck in my head like a bad jingle ever since, but I couldn’t figure out for the life of me which show it was from.

(my kid is asleep, so I can’t listen right now to get a timestamp for you…)
