Listening now after watching the PPV last night, which I enjoyed. My matches of the night were the tag title match and Dragon Lee vs. Rey Horus.

I’m not going to let WH Park disparage World Famous CB (formerly Cheeseburger). I met him over Zoom last year. He’s very nice.

The guy with the Dreamcast sign has been in similar front row aisle seats at WWE shows for quite a while. I credit/blame him for the barrage of video game-related signs I see every week (at least 1-2 every WWE or AEW show).

The gun line on commentary during the Pure Title Match was from Brian Zane, who was sitting in on commentary for just this match. Riccaboni acted taken aback by the line, and Zane responded, “Well I don’t want him to kill him!” Also, I think Johnson was out at the end when Woods shook his hand at the end.

Johnson has been getting around the Pure Rules in all of these matches. I think the finish worked in that rope breaks are used to save guys, and Woods wasn’t in need of saving.

I definitely thought it was Riccaboni who said it, because he’s usually pretty solid and I remember thinking it was a really stupid line from him.

Nope, just a stupid line from Zane.
