But on the less gritty show people are having their eyes extracted.
To say nothing of the NXT parking lot.
Lucha Underground was way ahead of it’s time…
Nothing says legit fighting than these two words "Dolph friggin Ziggler.
That’s three words…
“Anything goes”
After three weak punches not even in the face, Shane says “Ho ho stop it, that’s enough”. I laughed quite a lot.
I think that he was an amatour wrestler.
There’s a crazy disparity once you start incorporating Raw/SD/NXT guys into a match style that lasts 30 seconds. Why are WWE Main Events taking 20 plus minutes if you can do this in under a minute? The internal logic doesn’t hold up.
Not at all.
Again it goes back to the “this whole show is real, but this right here is really real.”
That’s why the shouldn’t have the wrestlers go up against each other. Either have them beat the shit out of a nobody or have one of the nobodies beat the shit out of the other nobodies so they stand out as a brutal fighter and then bring that guy up to one of the actual shows.
Didn’t you just describe NXT?
No. NXT half exists to be a third brand and half exists to develop new wrestlers and it does that while still being a wrestling show.
Raw Underground isn’t supposed to be a wrestling show, it’s just supposed to showcase brutality. Ultimately, one guy could be made from this format and then it’ll be played out.
Apologies. An attempt at humour.
