AEW’s Women’s World Championship Eliminator tournament continued today with a stream on Bleacher Report’s platform. The show opened with AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida teaming with Mei Suruga and Rin Kadokura to defeat Emi Sakura, Veny and Maki Itoh.

Kicking off the tournament action was the finals of the Japan side of the bracket with Ryo Mizunami besting Yuka Sakazaki to secure her spot in the finals. Closing the stream saw Thunder Rosa go one-on-one with former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho and it was Rosa picking up the win. She will meet Nyla Rose and that match is going to air on YouTube on 3/1.

The winner of that match is moving on to the 3/3 episode of Dynamite to compete against Ryo Mizunami for a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship at Revolution on 3/7.

POST Wrestling’s weekly review of AEW Dynamite will be live for patrons following the show going off the air. The review can be found in the “Rewind-A-Dynamite” section under the “podcasts” tab.

Not a great show. I thought the matches were average. Riho vs Rosa was below Riho/Deeb. Mei is very cute.

I was a little let down by Rosa/Riho but thought that Mizunami/Sakazaki was quite good. It felt like there were a couple of style/character clashes in the early matches of the Japanese bracket but here Mizunami felt really dominant and gave Sakazaki a good, brutal base from which to work. Also, you gotta love Excalibur’s wink to Bread Club.
