The headlining match of the 12/23 episode of MLW FUSION featured two former MLW World Heavyweight Champions in Tom Lawlor and Low Ki competing in the Opera Cup finals. Tom Lawlor defeated ACH and Rocky Romero to get to the finals and Low Ki bested Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Richard Holliday to get to the finals.

Low Ki and Lawlor met on tonight’s show and it was Low Ki who fell in defeat. He charged at Lawlor who was in the corner and connected with a Koppu kick to Lawlor’s head, which led to Lawlor falling over and while knocked out, his body weight sat on Low Ki to score the win.
