Stratus then gives her Mount Rushmore for women in wrestling.

One of the matches on the WrestleMania 39 match card will feature Trish Stratus tagging with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Becky Lynch and Lita to take on Damage CTRL (Bayley, IYO SKY & Dakota Kai).

The upcoming bout will be Stratus’ first sanctioned match since SummerSlam 2019. On the lead up to WrestleMania, Stratus made the media rounds and she sat down with Shakiel Mahjouri of SHAK Wrestling for a conversation.

Stratus was asked if WrestleMania is a one-off for her or if viewers expect more coming out of it. She stated that she cannot come back full-time and closed by saying let’s just get to WrestleMania first and see what happens after.

I mean for now, it’s let’s get to WrestleMania and see what’s gonna happen and then yeah, it’s a big, you know, departure (Stratus responded when asked if WrestleMania a one-off). I’m doing judging for Canada’s Got Talent as you know. My businesses and my babies. So, it’s only been a couple weeks on the road, I’m like, woo, yeah, okay. It’s quite the balance. I got child care in place so there’s all these things to consider… I have to go train at night time. When I put my kids to bed, I go train from 9 till midnight so, it’s all these things to consider so, it’s definitely not a full-time. I can’t do this as a full-time job right now because there’s other jobs as well but I mean, let’s get to WrestleMania and see what happens.

She went on to list her Mount Rushmore for women’s wrestling and put herself on that platform alongside Lita, Bayley and IWGP Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné

So I’ve actually said this one before (my women’s wrestling Mount Rushmore). So Trish, Lita, Sasha Banks and Bayley, or Mercedes Moné I guess. How about that?

On this past Monday’s Raw, Trish, Lita and Lynch brawled with IYO SKY and Dakota Kai which distracted Bayley and caused her to lose to Rhea Ripley
