The Undertaker’s latest match took place at this year’s WrestleMania event where he defeated AJ Styles in a Boneyard match. At the conclusion of The Undertaker’s ‘Last Ride’ docu-series, it was hinted that-that bout might be Undertaker’s last. Undertaker took to social media recently and thanked all who have been on this journey with him. To celebrate The Undertaker, WWE is hosting a “Tribute To The Undertaker” segment on SmackDown.

With the @WWEUniverse still buzzing over @WWENetwork's #TheLastRide, #SmackDown will feature a special “Tribute To The Undertaker” tomorrow night.#ThankYouTaker @undertaker https://t.co/Q5TqsGoCph

As a part of the tribute, The Undertaker and AJ Styles’ Boneyard match from WrestleMania 36 will air during the broadcast.

Since the Boneyard match, Styles has been moved over to the SmackDown brand and he captured the WWE Intercontinental Championship in the finals of the tournament for the vacant belt. Following tomorrow’s SmackDown, John Pollock and Wai Ting will be live for POST Wrestling Café patrons for Rewind-A-SmackDown.

Granted I’m normally suspicious about these type of things, but if it’s a tribute to The Undertaker, then why only announce it 24 hours in advance.

It does make me think if something is going on with the tapings?

Yes. They’re short on talent because so many have tested positive and there are presumably some others who haven’t tested positive who may now be refusing to work until things get cleaned up.
