Wendy Barlow says Ric Flair is expected to make a full recovery

On Thursday, TMZ reported that Ric Flair had been rushed to hospital after suffering a medical emergency that they deemed “very serious”.

Flair’s son-in-law, Conrad Thompson, was holding a media call for Starrcast and downplayed the report. Thompson stated that Flair had scheduled the procedure ahead of time prior to his trip to Las Vegas next weekend for Starrcast. He added that the situation was not as serious as TMZ made it out to be, that Flair was not worried about this and he is scheduled for “The Roast of Ric Flair” next weekend.

Later in the day, Flair’s wife Wendy Barlow issued the following statement to TMZ:

Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recover.

Dude, isn’t he a recovering alcoholic?

Nah he was interviews saying he’s gone back to drinking despite being told by doctors not to. He doesn’t care and neither should we

Alternatively, maybe that’s exactly what addiction is and why we should still care about people who get to that point.

It sounds like he went into
Alcohol withdrawal. Was probably having a procedure for arrthymia. Wonder how much thiamine you give him

It’s was for a planned procedure so that isn’t alcohol withdrawal.

No the planned procedure is for the arrhythmia. But it was delayed bc of something that happened on day of admission.

That delay I think is for alcohol withdrawal
