The place is packed. WWE will still throw out a fake attendance number. But the building looks honestly sold out. Every section not blocked by the stage is full.
Crowd sure sounded like they were behind Drew and got into the End Of Days kick out to me I thought this match over-delivered but agree the tag was a boring start.
I have to be somewhere else in an hour and just want to see Cody debut so maybe I’m just impatient lol. Just don’t think that match needed to be that long.
And here come the commercials and video packages upon video packages zzzzz
Everything is so, so, so overproduced. It’s like they have access to all the latest production toys and tools, and they vomit them all over everything.
They are trying SO hard to make it feel like WWE is part of pop culture… but it’s not. It feels like they have big sponsors, but are still on the fringe. No matter how hard they try, no matter how many celebs they have featured. They want to be Disney or Marvel, but they’re not.
So many commercials.
They have their fans. They seem passionate… I hope they’re enjoying it. This just isn’t the company I used to love so much.
Oh, for sure. I have no doubt. And that’s always the difference between going to a PPV vs. going to TV.
A lot of WWE TV would just cut the action abruptly for breaks and commercials - and there is no flow for an audience. Especially in the days when they’d tape Tuesday and not be live. At least most PPVs I’ve been to have a consistent flow, and no breaks in the action.
Lynch vs Bianca is great so far.
As somebody who doesn’t watch week to week, this definitely feels like it should have been a main event on one of the nights, especially given the fact both have previously closed Mania’s as winners before.
