WWE Raw took a slight hit airing against the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos, with Monday Night Football attracting over 17 million viewers across multiple networks.

The November 13 episode of Raw from Washington, D.C. averaged 1,467,000 viewers and 570,000 (0.44) in the 18-49 demographic, which were decreases of 4% and 8% respectively from last week, per Wrestlenomics.

The show averaged 1,585,000 viewers and 600,000 in the demo in the first hour, it dropped to 1,455,000 and 568,000 in the second hour, and 1,362,000 and 558,000 in the third hour.

The Monday Night Football game between Buffalo and Denver averaged 17,680,000 viewers across ABC, ESPN & ESPN 2 with a 4.39 rating combined in the 18-49 demographic – the largest combined audience for the NFL on Monday night since October 23. (Sports Media Watch)

In the 18-49 demo, Raw saw a 9% drop among males from 446,000 to 406,000 while women stayed consistent with a difference of 2,000 fewer viewers from last week’s average.

Adults 18-34 fell by 16% to 216,000 with women falling by 23% and males dropping by 12%.

Adults 35-49 were even with the previous week, although the breakdown saw males down by 7% but was offset by a 27% increase among women in the demo.

In Canada, it was a big week as Raw averaged 297,400 viewers and 120,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360 – it was the largest audience for Raw since August 21. Raw was third among sports broadcasts on Monday night behind the Monday Night Football game and NHL game between the Edmonton Oilers and New York Islanders. Raw edged out the NBA pre-season game between the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards on Sportsnet One, which averaged 279,900 viewers and 111,600 in the demo.

I don’t follow football but don’t both these teams suck? People wasted time watching non playoff teams?

Buffalo was supposed to be a title contender. Last nights game was also very close. I definitely tuned in for it instead of a snoozer Raw.

Yeah, I’m not saying you should’ve watched RAW instead. I don’t think anyone should ever watched three hours of raw. But the Broncos are terrible aren’t they? And Buffalo is small market and okay. Just surprised people cared that much. It wasn’t Chiefs vs Eagles etc

Buffalo should be a lot better. I think there was interest in seeing them. Denver sucks though. I don’t know the nfl is a monster. Was also a close and dramatic finish last night

Buffalo may be a smaller market, but they have been a contender for a few years now and appear to be nearing the end of their contending window, but they are a team people want to watch as these games matter a lot for them and Josh Allen is a very dynamic QB.

Denver sucks, but they do have Russell Wilson, who while regressing, still is a big name. Also, they have a big name coach in Sean Payton.

Long story short, no shortage in storylines in this one. Throw in that it was a tight game, I’m not surprised at all that this game would draw. I watched it.
