Monday’s episode of Raw saw its viewership hit a six-week high despite the disadvantage of going against a big Monday Night Football game.

Monday’s average viewership for Raw was 2,208,000 viewers on the USA Network, its highest mark since October 21st and up 5% from last week’s figure.

The show started with 2,418,000 viewers, which represents their highest opening hour since the October 21st show, as well. Viewership dropped 6% in the second hour to 2,279,000 viewers and another 15% for the usual third-hour drop. From hour one to hour three, the show fell by 20%.

The third hour of Raw had 1,928,000 viewers and was their best third-hour performance since October 28th, which averaged the same number of viewers.

The positives to glean from the Raw come despite Monday’s game between the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks that did 14,030,000 viewers and was the second-highest Monday Night Football game of the season.

Raw’s 18-49 demo was down 3% with a 0.69 down from 0.71 last week. They were up among males 18-49, males 12-34, people 25-54, and 50+. Females were down noticeably with a 12% drop among women 18-49 and 9% among 12-34s.

In breaking down the declines from the first hour of the show to the third hour, the biggest drop was seen among females 12-34 with a 29% decrease followed by males 18-49, males 12-34, and people 25-54 that were all down 23% from the first to the third hour.

I’m guessing that word of mouth from the previous week spread.

It appears you can’t predict how the ratings are going to do

As Sting said “One thing for sure is nothing is for sure”

What song was that ?

I’m guessing he referenced the wrestler Sting?

Sorry about that, I had to do the joke no matter what.

It’s because the RAW last week was good.

Good, I like the direction of the show is going in. There is a lot of potential.

I really like Seth’s character at the moment and I’ve never liked Seth.

This last weeks show sucked. Wasn’t as good as week before.
