The opening match of the 2021 Survivor Series event was Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch versus SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. The final sequence of the match saw Lynch and Flair exchange O’Connor Rolls and Flair attempted to hold onto the ropes for the three count but was caught by the referee. Lynch countered into a pin of her own but was able to secure the win as the referee did not see her holding the middle rope. Below is Lynch’s post-match promo about she and Charlotte’s relationship:

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was a part of multiple segments on the show. He brought a ‘Cleopatra Egg’ into his office and said it was a special gift from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. The egg went missing and the last time the egg was shown on-screen was when McMahon had a conversation with Roman Reigns. McMahon said all talents from Raw and SmackDown are to be present on the 11/22 Raw so he can figure out who stole the egg.

Reigns and Big E headlined Survivor Series and it was Reigns scoring the win over the WWE Champion with a spear.

As the men’s five-on-five elimination match got underway, Kevin Owens walked out on Team Raw and got himself counted out. Nonetheless, Team Raw won the match and the final two participants were Seth Rollins and SmackDown’s Jeff Hardy.

Bianca Belair was the sole survivor for Team Raw in the women’s five-on-five elimination match. She was in a 1-on-3 situation against Shayna Baszler, Shotzi and Natalya. Belair defeated them all.

Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) bested SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso). With Orton partaking in a match at Survivor Series, he broke Glenn ‘Kane’ Jacobs’ record for the most WWE/F pay-per-view matches.

On the pre-show, Damian Priest went one-on-one with Shinsuke Nakamura. Priest exited the ring, broke Rick Boogs’ guitar and then hit Nakamura with it which led to him being disqualified.
