The 20th edition of WWE’s annual Tribute to The Troops special was taped on Friday night after the conclusion of SmackDown.
Michael Cole stated during Friday’s show from Indianapolis, Indiana, that the special will air on FOX in December. However, a date for the broadcast is yet to be announced.
Fans in attendance shared the details of the match line-up on social media.
Tribute to the Troops card:
- Braun Strowman vs. LA Knight
- Emma and Tamina vs. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler
- Sheamus, Ricochet, and Drew McIntyre vs. Giovanni Vinci, Ludwig Kaiser, and GUNTHER
WWE has long maintained good relations with the United States military and aired a video package in honor of Veterans’ Day during SmackDown on Friday.

Tribute to the Troops has taken place annually since 2003, when members of the roster visited a U.S. military base in Baghdad, Iraq, to stage the event.
