I was watching tv and some “reality” army boot camp show preview came on and he’s on it which got me thinking of him. He clearly is looking to do something post NBA in entertainment and he did that audition, so it seems like he’s the most likely candidate.

Problem with NFLers is they have provisions in their contracts. I remember when urlacher came to tna (I think) he was very restricted.

My full prediction is that an athlete somewhat in their prime retires and does Wrestling, which is why I said ESPN worthy but I did not elaborate. Like say George Kittle just announcing he’s done playing football and going to do a pro wrestling match etc.

Dwight is a logical bet. I’d put him at -150 to do something in 2023 in WWE.

5 Bold Predictions;

1. CM Punk returns to AEW and much of the rumor and innuendo is left in 2022 when he does (but not a moment before he’s back)
2. Part of the new TV Deals includes Raw moving back to 2 hours as the company and network realizes it has soiled its own product and hurting themselves respectively
3. There is no real negotiation period of AEW as WBD picks up the option for another year making the AEW bidding war of 2024 one for TK and Max
   4. Vince returns to the public light somewhere around Wrestlemania to very little non-IWC shock or dismay. Many fans will cheer this.
   5. WWE is sold to a Major broadcast company which spins off a division in doing so. I’m thinking Comcast/NBCU or Disney/ESPN

1. CM Punk returns to AEW. He is the last man MJF faces for the title before pulling a CM Punk and escaping through the crowd into ‘the bidding war of 2024’ (I’ve heard this elsewhere but still claiming the same idea)
2. Saraya continues to disppoint in the ring before having her body break down once more. (not rooting against her but feel this is an inevitability)
3. FTR return to WWE by the end of the year
4. WWE blows the momentum they had in Sami Zayn and he’s back to the midcard by end of 2023 (I pray I’m wrong)
5. The IWC turn on HHH by year’s end as Trips projects of Braun, Kross, and even Wyatt fail to justify their returns while stylistically McIntyre and Corbin just don’t fit anymore.

BONUS - We see at least one high profile female wrestler walk out (Sasha/Naomi style) on WWE this year.

Looks like I got my bonus. There’s a couple of others in play.
