I don’t follow NXT every week. Probably have seen less than 20 episodes of NXT this year. Instead, my least favorite Takeover matches were probably Kassius Ohno vs Velveteen Dream at Takeover Philly and Shayna Baszler vs Nikki Cross at Takeover Chicago 2.

Best Male Wrestler - they don’t call him Johnny Wrestling for nothing

Best Female Wrestler - Bianca Belaire. Not since Sasha has a female talent owned a character as well as the B EST

Best Tag Team - Undisputed Era. Give me Kyle O’Reiley guitar entrances every day and twice on Sunday

Best Takeover Match - Ciampa v Gargano - New Orleans

Best TV Match - Undisputed v Mustache Mountain

OMG Moment of the Year (spot in a match, closing moment to a show etc.) -

Person you think will break out next year (someone already in NXT who will raise their stock) - Adam Cole will reach cant miss level. To hell hit the high water mark (for me) that only Finn Balor ever hit

Best enhancement talent (regular featured NXT star who puts on great matches to enhance other talent) - Velveteen Dream. It’s true. And he’s magnificent.

Who you think will be signed to NXT from the Indies next year - I fear Joey Janella I’m the heels of Game Changer getting more popular and WWE losing a lot of guys to AEW. He feels like a game changer in terms of noteworthy guys being locked up.

Who will be called up to main roster next year - Alestir Black will make a big impact in a main role next year on the big show; War Machine could have big time heavyweight battles with The Bar and Bludgeon Brothers. I genuinely want to see those matches and I never want to see The Bar wrestle anyone

Worst Male Wrestler - EC3 (Clearly never fit in NXT. Lars is worse in my opinion, but he filled the monster spot well enough. EC3 served no purpose.)

Worst Female Wrestler - Taynara Conti (The yelling and way over the top facial expressions are so very bad. Otherwise, she is fine.)

Worst Tag Team - Heavy Machinery (The Mighty might be a bit bland, but I’d watch them than a ton of ‘lol we’re big’ spots that is Machinery’s entire existance.)

Worst on the mic - Heavy Machinery (I find none of it funny.)

Worst match - EC3 vs. Velveteen Dream - Takeover Brooklyn 4 (There are probably worse matches on the weekly TV. However, the weekly TV is full of enhancement matches with talent still learning. This was on a Takeover. This was by far the worst Takeover match of the year. Takeovers have such a high standard and EC3 could not hold up his end in his only singles Takeover match.)

Worst call-up to main roster - Everyone Not Named Drew McIntyre (Everyone else came up without a plan and disappeared from TV for weeks, in not months, at a time.)

Worst ring-gear - Tie: EC3’s ‘Pete Dunne knockoff’ Fur Coat & Kassius Ohno in general
