Kevin Dunn doesn’t do the packaging of shows. Thats a different department.
Can’t blame him for everything that bothers you about WWE.
It’s pretty well known that the music choice for each PPV is usually taken from whatever trash Dunn is listening to. The video packages, montages graphics are all fantastic and are down to the WWE’s sublime media production team. Camera angles, shaky cam, camera cuts, anything that is presented in the live format is Dunn’s domain, hence why it’s acceptable to blame him for the shocking presentation of the matches and backstage segments.
And the music too, Oh God, the awful music. You heard the music that accompanies NXT shows? Usually of a very good quality (apart from yesterday’s show; Asking Alexandria are complete gash). You don’t usually see the usual over-the-top dogshit production that the main product exhibits either. That’s because Dunn has little-to-no say in the NXT shows or how they’re run.
There’s actually a pretty funny rumor going round, probably started by some ex-writer, that Dunn watches a lot of porn so he tends to film the backstage segments and skits with ‘porn inspired’ camera angles and styles. True or not, it’s fucking hilarious either way.
